Finland-based MetaCase develops modeling solutions that enable its customers to predict how business process changes will affect information systems architecture. When MetaCase needed a new product that included flexible graphical modeling technology, it turned to Cincom Smalltalk for a powerful, flexible, object development environment.

As a result of this partnership, MetaCase produced MetaEdit+. This new software development tool enabled Nokia to reduce time-to-market for new telephone modules from 14 days to 1, for example. According to MetaCase, this outstanding achievement would not have been possible without the power, flexibility, and simplicity of Cincom Smalltalk.
