Former Microsoft Dynamics Senior Director Melissa Cook to Become Cincom Senior Industry Fellow for Enterprise Business Systems

Cook brings unique industry experience and expert views to new relationship with Cincom Systems

CINCINNATI, OHIO — June 16, 2015 — A top, long-term, software industry executive is adding her expertise to the arena of thought leadership in enterprise business systems for Cincom Systems.

Melissa Cook, the well-respected former Senior Director and Global Manufacturing Industries Lead for Microsoft Dynamics® and previous 20-year alumna at Hewlett-Packard, has formed a new relationship with Cincom Systems as a guest writer and speaker.

Cook, former Senior Director and Global Manufacturing Industries Lead for Microsoft Dynamics will hold the title of Cincom Senior Industry Fellow for Enterprise Business Systems, is well-known in the software industry for her simple, pragmatic and proven approach to deploying and managing complex business-system architectures in Fortune 500 companies. Her experience and expertise will inform her contributions at Cincom.

Prior to joining Microsoft Dynamics, Cook spent 20 years with the Hewlett-Packard Company in systems engineering and senior management roles after receiving her Computer Science degree in 1979 from the University of Washington. In addition to her new fellowship at Cincom, Cook also writes opinions for ComputerWorld and is the author of the book, Building Enterprise Information Architectures, which was published by Prentice-Hall and is used as a textbook at more than 50 colleges and universities worldwide.
