Agility and Scalability: Key Focus for New Australian Leader

Cincom Systems Australia announces Graeme King as the software business’ new Country Manager for Australia & New Zealand.

The role will see him responsible for the planning, management and profitability of Cincom’s operations across Australia and New Zealand.

The promotion, which occurred in July also saw King’s Australian predecessor, Greg Mills, join Cincom’s global executive strategic team as Vice President of International Sales, Services & Corporate Operations.

“Graeme is a results-oriented individual, with a depth of experience in business management, sales, strategy and planning, channel management, execution and negotiation… I am confident Graeme will serve Cincom, our ANZ team and our customers well with his leadership style and in-depth industry knowledge,” explains Mills.

Since becoming a Microsoft Dynamics Global Independent Software Vendor (GISV), Cincom has been undergoing a business transformation aimed at increasing the company’s ability to be more agile and scalable.

“[In the new role] I am looking forward to continuing to position the company to successfully transition into an indirect sales model and support the GISV initiative with Microsoft,” says King.

With over 30 years in the industry, King has certainly been at the coal face. Earlier in his career he was responsible for establishing a company to distribute ASTEA International’s enterprise software servicing the ASEAN countries from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Since then, he has held various roles in the enterprise IT space at ASTEA, IFS and Cincom; ranging from services manager, pre-sales, business development manager and state manager. King joined Cincom Australia in 2005.
