Cincom Event Master enables you to create business processes that are able to detect key events that signal important events in the business process. Cincom Event Master then coordinates related functions that are beyond the scope of underlying applications. Unlike other approaches, Cincom Event Master adds to the user interface and process workflow of the application, rather than trying to displace the application’s business processes.
Determine Proper Coordination of Benefits
The Cincom COB Master takes a list of insurance-plan codes and orders them based on a set of rules. Cincom COB Master sorts the insurance codes/mnemonics and returns the sorted list. When the rules for ordering rely on answers to the Medicare Secondary Payer questionnaire, the Cincom COB Master ensures that only the relevant questions are asked and then uses the answers to determine the proper coordination of benefits.
Test Predefined Values and Return Specific Results
Cincom Format Master contains many different functions that can manipulate or test values and return results. For example, one client required their state Medicaid numbers to always be nine digits. Cincom Format Master addresses this and a variety of other value formatting and testing issues.
Ensure Certain Character Strings Are Returned as a Predetermined String
Cincom Keyword Master receives a text string and returns another string that has been defined as a synonym for the original. An example of Cincom Keyword Master at work is to automatically replace outdated insurance-plan codes with more current plan codes in the Cincom IGR® solution.
Write and Maintain Interactive Question/Answer Scripts and Guides
Cincom Question Master enables business personnel, as opposed to IT personnel, to build the rules that guide other employees through complex processes. Unlike other solutions, CQM allows the business expert to capture the rules and deploy them within the existing HIS.
