Expert Access Editorial Guidelines

Cincom's Expert Access is a bi-weekly, interactive, electronic publication delivering business-critical strategies, innovations and actionable ideas for business leaders. Expert Access identifies key strategic trends, innovations, and critical business issues, and then provides relevant, concise, objective information to help guide the customer/prospect in their decision-making process.

Differentiator: Interactive access and feedback from industry experts around the world.

Published: Every other Tuesday with no issue between Christmas and the New Year.

Target Readership

Senior-level corporate executives, their operations managers, IT managers, and IT buyer committees made up of between 3-12 people from internal business, technology and operations units. Because Expert Access spans a wide range of job titles and industries, it must deliver value by presenting the business benefits of the latest technology advances to corporate and operations managers while at the same time, getting under the covers of the latest business and production applications for the IT managers and users.

Content Must:

Be current

  • Articles must have been published within the last six months, preferably no older than one to two months;
  • White papers and research briefs within the past 12 months.

Fall in one of these categories:

  • Customer Relationship Strategies — Find, acquire and retain customers.
  • Business Process Management — Integrate. Automate. Maximize operations for bottom-line results.
  • Enterprise Content Management — Deliver business-critical information to anyone, anytime, anywhere.
  • Directly address a business issue or IT business strategy affecting the target industries of Expert Access.

Inappropriate Content:

  • Blatant sales pitches for products or services.
  • Technically detailed articles such as those regarding coding, etc.
  • Content that does not address the specific needs and interests of Expert Access readers.
  • Content that directly promotes the expertise, products or services of a direct competitor of Cincom. (Please note, content that references our competitors is allowed as long as Cincom is also referenced. Exceptions are at editors' discretion.)
  • Consumer-based pieces.

How to Submit Content and Content Ideas

  • Send ideas and relevant content to the Expert Access editor, at expertaccess@cincom.com for consideration. Final content selection is at the discretion of the editor.
  • Content must be received no later than the Friday two weeks prior to desired publication date.
