Coming Soon — ODBC Access to Your SUPRA PDM Data
While the SUPRA Server PDM database management system provides optimal non-relational access to your information, there are many occasions when relational access to that same data would benefit your organisation’s data management objectives. With the next release of SUPRA Server PDM, you will be able to accomplish just that.
Relational Access Kit
The SUPRA Server PDM Relational Access Kit will enable you to access your SUPRA PDM data using the industry-standard SQL language and a number of industry-standard APIs, such as ODBC and OLEDB. Now you will be able to integrate other non-relational data sources and relational data sources into a single common view.
With this capability, you can:
- Access your data using your favorite tools such as Cognos, Crystal Reports, Excel — or any tool that accesses data using an ODBC or OLEDB driver.
- Get Open Access to your SUPRA PDM data using SQL.
- Generate ad hoc reports from your SUPRA PDM data.
- Incorporate existing PDM data into new projects.

The first kit will be available in the next general release of SUPRA PDM for all supported IBM operating systems and for OpenVMS.
