MANTIS XML uses XML and other open standards to provide web access to Cincom's proprietary Rapid Application Development system. It extends MANTIS programming into the web programming environment for new applications, allowing collaboration with many current open standards and technologies, including TCP/IP, HTTP, XML, SOAP, HTML and JavaScript.
Because of MANTIS XML's support for these standards, the resulting applications can be fully integrated with other web-enabled software. Together with your Java-enabled web server, MANTIS XML dramatically improves your application development and integration capabilities. In fact, your application server becomes a MANTIS-enabled server, providing new levels of flexibility and openness.
MANTIS XML enables you to export MANTIS form entities as XML documents for access via web browser and web design tools. In addition, you can also send MANTIS information to non-MANTIS applications in a web-services style.
