Timken next added MANTIS programs in areas that required a DB2 and SUPRA interface. Timken found MANTIS to be an extremely easy language to learn. Within a few days, not weeks or months, programmers were trained, up-to-speed, and developing new applications.

Over the last 30 plus years, Timken has successfully built a number of applications that have lasted on their platforms a lot longer than they ever expected them to. And they will continue using Cincom’s development tools and integration capabilities wherever they fit within Timken’s evolving architecture.
