Cincom Helps Lower Costs and Eliminate Risks for Ericsson Through Extended Services for CONTROL
 
 

Ericsson, the world’s largest mobile communications system supplier, required a software support group for Cincom’s CONTROL ERP solution, which had been installed worldwide. Its tasks included distribution and coordination among all Ericsson sites worldwide and the design and maintenance of an intranet for Ericsson’s users. The group addressed these issues with contract staff, which Ericsson saw as both a business risk and a major expense.

Cincom replaced Ericsson’s in-house team with Extended Services, a solution delivering seamless support and development services to all Ericsson user sites.

Through Extended Services, Ericsson has leveraged Cincom competencies to lower costs and ease skill shortages and staff turnover, giving the company the opportunity to redeploy resources to other projects.
