Management Information

Cincom Priority Management Information empowers management to make accurate and timely judgments through:

  • Standard reports
  • HTML documents and reports
  • Graphs
  • Report generator
  • Open access to other tools
Priority contains hundreds of predefined reports with multiple selection criteria. Users can modify existing reports or create a new report using the integrated report writer facility. Most inquiries can be satisfied by using the powerful Query-by-Example feature as all of the databases supported by Priority are ODBC-compliant.

Users are able to produce reports in HTML format and print sales, purchasing and service documents in HTML format.

In addition, various types of graphs (e.g. area, bar, line, pie) can also be produced as HTML pages.

Users can drill to details directly from within HTML reports and documents.

For more sophisticated analysis, Cincom also offers PowerPlay from Cognos, a powerful executive information system.

PowerPlay offers drill-down capabilities from the summary to the detail levels and provides the ability to "slice and dice" by providing a three-dimensional view of your data. The information is presented in easy-to-understand spreadsheet or graphical modes.
